Free COVID-19 Testing Available

LOWELL, MA – The City of Lowell’s Health Department has announced the expansion of no-cost COVID-19 testing for Lowell residents through the state’s “Stop the Spread” initiative. Beginning Monday, July 20, a mobile testing operation launched in partnership with the Lowell Community Health Center and Trinity EMS will be stationed at sites throughout the City for five-day periods through August 14. Testing will be available at the following locations during the corresponding dates:

  • Lowell Health Department, 341 Pine Street - July 20-24
  • Coalition for a Better Acre (CBA), Near 517 Moody Street at North Canal Parking Lot - July 27-31 (Walk-up only)
  • Robinson Middle School, 110 June Street - August 3-7
  • Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association (CMAA), 465 School Street - August 10-14 (Walk-up only)

The hours of testing at all sites will be 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, and 9:00 am – 12:00 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Drive-through and walk-up testing will be available at all sites, except for the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association where testing will be exclusively walk-up.

All residents, including those that do not have symptoms of COVID-19, are eligible to be tested.
