Why was my cart missed?
To make sure your carts (barrels) get picked up, follow these rules. Carts must:
  • be out by 7 am on your service day
  • be against or at the edge of the curb
  • at least an arm's length from any vehicle and not behind anything (pole, other cart, etc.)
  • have closed  (sealed) lids
  • be less than 250 pounds - the trucks have weight limitations on what they can pick up!
If your trash or recycling carts are given rejection stickers, the carts are in violation of one of the above rules or contain items that do not belong in that cart. Please do not report a miss if your carts are in violation of any of the above rules, or have rejection stickers.
