The Lowell Historic Board (LHB) maintains an active community engagement and outreach program highlighting preservation in Lowell.  Preservation is the basis of much of the community's economic, tourism, cultural, and marketing efforts and these varied outreach programs aid in the public's understanding, appreciation, and support of preservation.  The LHB is directed by statute to undertake initiatives reflective and supportive of its mission and is thus committed to a strong and varied education and outreach program.
