CITY COUNCIL - MOTIONS

12.1.

C. Rourke - Req. City Mgr. work with the residents of the Fowler Road, Boulevard Street and Katherine Drive neighborhoods to look at options to redesign the intersection of Varnum Avenue to improve safety.

12.2.

C. Gitschier/C. Scott - Req. City Mgr. have the proper department work on providing services to the homeless on Plain Street at Target Plaza and providing a timeframe for removal of the tents.

12.3.

C. Nuon - Req. City Mgr. restart discussion with the DPD about the feasibility of forming a downtown business improvement district wherein members contribute to a fund that in turn benefits the district; similar to the Community Preservation Act.

12.4.

C. Nuon - Req. City Mgr. work with appropriate department to improve appearance of downtown ahead of the Lowell Folk Festival by cleaning the streets and repainting light poles and other similar structures.
