12" Water Main Break on Varnum Ave., Pawtucketville

The Lowell Regional Water Utility (LRWU) was recently notified of a 12" water main break located on Varnum Ave. in the Pawtucketville section of the city. This area will need to be shut in to repair the main break. Multiple streets in the area will be with low pressure until the main repair is complete. Currently we are unaware of the time this repair will take.
The map shows the homes that will lose water pressure while the repair is being completed. This will affect multiple parcels in the area. If a resident is expriencing any issues with discolored water, we ask they run their cold water in the bathtub or sink once the repair is complete. We will share updates as they become available.
