Eligibility TimelineThe Baker-Polito Administration and the Department of Public Health have developed a vaccine distribution timeline which determines when individuals in Massachusetts are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Most individuals will be eligible to be vaccinated during Phase 3, which is tentatively slated to begin in April. To find out when you're eligible to be vaccinated, click here.
Eligibility of Individuals Age 65 and OlderOn February 17, Governor Charlie Baker announced that all Massachusetts residents age 65 and older, and residents with 2 or more certain medical conditions can begin booking vaccine appointments.
Residents age 75 and older will became eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, February 1st.
Despite more residents becoming eligible, the availability of vaccine remains extremely constrained in Massachusetts, including in Lowell, due to federal distribution limitations. It may take several weeks for eligible residents to make an appointment.

Make an Appointment By PhoneEligible residents encountering difficulty making vaccine appointments using the State's online system may now make an appointment by phone by calling the Mass Vaccine Scheduling Resource Line at 2-1-1. Lowell residents seeking assistance may also call the Lowell Senior Center at 978-674-4131.

Pharmacies will also be able to vaccinate their customers.Currently, Lowell residents are eligible to be vaccinated at sites outside of the City, including pharmacy locations throughout the state and "super sites" which currently include Fenway Park and Gillette Stadium.
