P. Michael Vaughn

Background

Mike was hired as the Chief Procurement Officer for the City in 2007. He earned an Associate's Degree in Business from the University of Lowell and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Merrimack College. He has been a Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official since 1999. Prior to joining the City, Michael worked for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority for thirty years in the Materials Management Department. Mike received the Commonwealth's Pride in Performance award for his service at the MBTA. Michael is also an avid New England Patriot fan.
