Thomas Wood is a Second Assistant City Solicitor in the City of Lowell Law Department. He received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2017, and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2020.
Before joining the City, Thomas was a trial and appellate attorney with Keches Law Group where he focused on personal injury law, employment discrimination, and federal civil rights litigation. This included representing clients in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the Massachusetts Superior Court, and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. Before that, Thomas clerked for the Honorable Nina F. Elgo in the Connecticut Appellate Court.
Thomas is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
