It is possible to bury cremated remains without the assistance of a funeral home. To do so, you will need to have the cremation certificate and lot location (unless you are purchasing a new lot).
While both of these are governed by a variety of rules and laws, grave reservation and deed transfer requests must be requested in writing by the lot owner, and must be notarized.
