Neighborhood Services functions as a liaison between the City of Lowell, our various neighborhood groups, and their residents and businesses. 

Mission

The mission of the Neighborhood Liaison is to serve as a bridge between community members and local government, ensuring that all residents have access to important information, resources, and opportunities for participation in community decision-making. We strive to empower underrepresented voices and enhance the quality of life in our neighborhoods through active engagement and collaboration.

Overview

• Promote Engagement: Encourage community involvement through outreach initiatives, public meetings, and social media platforms to ensure that all voices are heard.

• Provide Resources: Act as a resource hub for residents by sharing information about city services, programs, and events that impact the community.

• Foster Communication: Establish clear channels of communication where residents can express their concerns and feedback directly to local government representatives.

• Support Community Initiatives: Collaborate with neighborhood associations and local organizations to support and enhance community well-being.
