The City of Lowell provides an opportunity for residents to drop off unwanted medications and sharps four times per year at its Unwanted Medication and Sharps Disposal Days.

We will be having our next Unwanted Medication and Sharps Disposal Day on Saturday April 24th, 2021 from 10:00am - 2:00pm at 341 Pine Street. This will be our first drive through set up - we cannot wait to see you there!

Residential Disposal Only - No commercial disposal.
Put medications away
Place medications in a locked drawer, pouch, cabinet or safe
Keep count of the pills in each bottle
Ask the parents of your child's friends to safeguard their medications as well
Dispose of medications
Bring medications to the Lowell Police Department Drop-off Kiosk at 50 Arcand Drive
