The City of Lowell's Neighborhood Traffic Calming program aims to lower the vehicle speeds on residential streets to improve the livability, safety and comfort of its residents.
How to request traffic calming in your neighborhood?
You can request for traffic calming using the City of Lowell's 311 Service Request System. More information on the process can be found here. The City is tracking all requests received through the Form. These requests are now available for the public to view on the below dashboard.
How to use this dashboard?
- From the drop-down menu on the sidebar, select the neighborhood of your choice to see its demographics and how many requests have been submitted. You can do the same by just clicking on the map.
- In order to view the nature of the request, select the street of your choice from the map. For easy navigation, look for an address using the search bar on the top right corner drop down menu.
