Hometown Heroes Banner Program

The Hometown Heroes Banner Program recognizes and honors the service of City of Lowell residents and family members who served in the armed forces or as first responders.

The City of Lowell annual Hometown Heroes Banner Program recognizes our community's men and women in uniform who are currently serving in the armed forces, veterans who have served in the past, and first responders.

Banners will be designed, printed, and installed honoring these individuals on an annual basis in the month of May. Each banner will feature the individual's photo, name, branch of service and/or credentials. Sponsored by companies, organizations and families, the banners will be displayed on the JFK Plaza next to Lowell City Hall.
