Project Description:
The City of Lowell will begin maintenance work on the Aiken Street Bridge to preserve the structure and enhance surface conditions. The project will include removing the existing epoxy overlay, completing concrete patch repairs, and applying a new epoxy overlay to protect and extend the life of the bridge deck.
This work is essential to extend the service life of the bridge deck and improve safety for vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists.
Traffic impacts will be minimized as much as possible. Lane closures or detours may be required during certain phases of the work, and advance notice will be provided.
