Innovation has been the cornerstone of Lowell since the City was founded. As the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution, Lowell continues to reinvent itself and is keeping pace with the Greater Lowell region, Boston and Cambridge, hot-beds of Innovation in the country and the world!

The City of Lowell, Economic Development staff in collaboration with other local and regional organizations provide great resources to entrepreneurs looking to set-up roots here in the City. Co-Working and Incubator Space:
U-Mass Lowell Innovation-HUB "I-hub"
110 Canal Street, Lowell, MA
Located in the heart of the Hamilton Canal District, the I-Hub provides technology-driven start-ups and small companies with 24-hr. access to co-working space, meeting and conferencing, as well as access to state-of-the-art lab and clean-room space for rapid prototype development. The i-Hub is affiliated with the “Workbar” partners network allowing its members full access to Workbar in Cambridge and vice-versa.
