Project Scope:
 Improvements include updating the ballfield and adding irrigation; upgrading related furnishings and installing shade structures over the dugouts; and creating a plaza space with cafe-style tables and a shipping container concessions stand.

February 2026

  • The North Common Call for Art is live! More info HERE

September 2025

  • Construction is almost complete. The shipping container is now on site, and the contractor is working to finish the final details. The field is on tract re-open next spring (2026), once the gras is fully established!

May 2025

  • Construction will start May 12th. During construction the ball field will be temporarily closed.

February 2025

  • DPD shared information about this and other ARPA-funded projects at Lowell Winterfest on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

November 2024
